Shot from the front porch. The Fir's home moorage is just a few hundred yards off her bow here, but the Jayhawk from Air Station Astoria has been hovering off the stern for several minutes.

I shoot more than I know what to do with. I'm talking photographs, of course.
Since it's always THERE, the Columbia and its transient inhabitants are a recurring if not wholly intentional theme, and as I sorted images a few days ago, I thought it time to start displaying the variations of that theme.
