About Me

My photo
NWWanderer
Astoria, OR, United States
I live on the edge of the Columbia River, a few miles upstream from the Pacific. I miss my hometown of Portland, but at the same time, I love this little community, and especially my space within it. I'm a native Oregonian brought up in the shadow of the likes of Wayne Morse, Tom McCall and Mark Hatfield... people who led with character and conviction, not by giving themselves a brand. A "serious amateur" photographer for more than 30 years, I'm seldom found without at least one camera within reach. It pains me to have to state the obvious and clutter up the room, but you are NOT authorized to copy or use any of the images or text here without my permission. Really.
